Railway Museum closes

In common with nearly all heritage railways, the Mid-Suffolk Light Railway has taken the decision to cancel all immediate opening days and postpone events scheduled for Spring and early Summer, due to the current Coronavirus outbreak.

The Middy will re-open and reschedule major events as soon as the situation improves.

In the meantime a small group of volunteers under 70 of age (yes they do have some we are assured!), will be looking after basic maintenance and security. Also the MSLR Treasurer has informed the Board that the Museum will survive the loss of income from the 2020 programme as necessary and the Middy will still be here when the crisis has passed.

They will be constantly reviewing the situation and posting latest news on the website, www.mslr.org.uk
