Appeal after thefts from Baby Remembrance Tree


Police are appealing for witnesses after thefts from a remembrance tree in Ipswich.

The thefts took place sometime between July and 5 September in the Magic Garden area of Holywells Park in the town. Three brass leaves from a remembrance tree sculpture, commissioned by the Ipswich Hospital Baby Bereavement Group, were stolen.

Each leaf represents an individual child and the families of those involved have been informed of the thefts.

It is also thought that a CCTV camera system covering the area was also stolen during the same time period.
