Ipswich Council confirm summer events
Ipswich Borough Council’s summer events programme is due to make a long-awaited return this August, with a series of small events suitable for the whole family.
Starting with a performance of Pride and Prejudice by the Pantaloons Open Air Theatre company on Wednesday 4th August in Christchurch Park. Gates open at 6pm, with the performance running from 7:30pm-9:30pm. Tickets be available to book from the Ipswich Theatres website from Monday 29th March.
The free Family Fun Days in the town’s parks return in August:
Bourne Park on Friday 6th August
Holywells Park on Wednesday 11th August
Chantry Park on Wednesday 25th August.
These events will include numerous attractions, market stalls and activities to keep children entertained all day long.
Big screen blockbusters return to Christchurch Park during a three-day outdoor cinema extravaganza from Friday 13th August. Films are yet to be confirmed, but there will be something for everyone.
