Felixstowe Spa reopens

Following the recent Prime Ministerial announcement, The Spa Pavilion in Felixstowe have confirmed that they will extend their seven day a week food and bar service to indoor customers from 17th May. Their opening hours will also increase, to 9am to 6pm, with food served all day until 5pm.
For their long-awaited theatre re-opening, The Spa are donning glittery high-heeled boots, to “kick-start” their summer season! From Thursday 24th until Sunday 27th June, it’s ‘Kinky Boots: The Musical’, produced and directed by Suzie Lowe. Kinky Boots is the winner of every major Best Musical award, including the Tony, the Grammy and London’s Olivier Award. Written by Harvey Fierstein and with music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper, this amazing show will send you home singing!
Next up, on Saturday 17th July: The inimitable ‘Coldplace’ – The world’s leading tribute to Coldplay. Incidentally, these talented musicians will be, quite literally, performing in a “cold place” – or rather a perfectly cooled one, as the Spa have recently installed a state-of-the-art air conditioning system, to keep the auditorium pleasantly temperate in summer time and the indoor air throughout the building as fresh and virus free as possible.
Sunday 25th July sees the return of Dennis Lowe Theatre Company, with ‘The Best of the West End’: A summer showcase spectacular! With everything covered from ‘Miss Saigon’ to ‘Chicago’, this tantalising show will have you dreaming of those West End nights throughout. Also expect to hear songs from ‘Hamilton’, ‘Jersey Boys’, ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Kinky Boots’, ‘Frozen’, ‘Les Misérables’, ‘Waitress’, ‘Dear Evan Hansen’, ‘Half a Sixpence’, ‘Anything Goes’ and many more!
To round off the month of July: A matinee performance, at 2pm on Saturday 31st. ‘The Little Mix Experience’ will be making some ‘Black Magic’, with breathtaking dance moves, replica costumes and some of the finest vocals in the UK. If you’re a fan of one of X Factor’s finest exports, the BRIT award-winning Little Mix, you’re sure to love ‘The Little Mix Experience’! This high-energy show is suitable for all ages, and it’s excellent value – at only £14.50 per ticket.
Tickets for all theatre shows are available from the Spa Pavilion Box Office, which is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11am until 4pm (01394 284962). You can also select your own seats and book online, 24 hours a day, at www.fxspa.co.uk
The café, bars and restaurant are open every day for the summer from 9am to 6pm. Breakfast is served 9am -11.45am and main meals,12pm – 5pm. Also, food is always served for two hours before every performance, with reservation advised on 01394 336 336.
