Review: From Rushmere with Love
The alternative Christmas show by Ipswich-based Eastern Angles has long been a seasonal favourite. No sugary sweet princess her but great madcap fun and laughs a plenty, all usually with a local twist and this year is no different.
This year the company turn the attentions to the Bond movies for a great spoof, From Rushmere With Love!
Follow James Boond (a double-O agent like none before him) as he investigates the mysterious disappearance of a famous nuclear scientist and amateur twitcher on the marshes at Minsmere.
Written by Brendan Murray and directed by Ivan Cutting (the team that brought you Mansfield Park & Ride and Round The Twist) the show is filled with humour, original live music (some of which sounds suspiciously like some from the Bond movies) and lots of family fun that we’ve come to expect
A great and talented cast take on a variety of roles and you will not want to miss this terrific show.
This fun-filled, action-packed show is being performed at the Eastern Angles Centre’s Sir John Mills Theatre until 8th January.
The layout of the theatre has been changed to allow more social distancing and the adopting of a cabaret set-up with individual tables for your group and table service for refreshments.
You can watch this in person at the theatre (subject to mask-wearing or any other government guidelines that maybe in force) or you can watch in the comfort of your own home via the live streaming option, to find out more and book your tickets visit www.easternangles.co.uk.
Theatre has been hit more than most businesses, being the first industry forced to close and the last to be allowed to reopen, so they do really need our support – book now!
