Entertainment on the Coast

Kicking off an exciting month at Felixstowe’s award-winning Spa Pavilion Theatre, it’s the unmissable ‘Cliff and the Shadows Tribute’, starring Jimmy Jemain – on Sunday 1st February!

Jimmy has been performing his Cliff tribute show for 30 years, and has also starred in London’s West End, in ‘Cliff – The Musical’. Even Sir Cliff himself says that Jimmy is “spot on. A bit too good!”

On Friday 6th February, the one and only Gareth Gates is coming to The Spa, with ‘Boyband in the Buff’ – a celebration of pop, passion, and pecs! With big pop anthems (from Backstreet Boys to NSYNC, and Blue to Take That), this show will be as nostalgic as it is naughty. Expect tight harmonies and tighter pants. (At least, for the first few numbers!). VIP passes are available, for an additional £30 per person – Don’t miss your chance to meet Gareth, for a photo opportunity and signed poster!

The very next night (Saturday 7th February), it’s ‘Waterloo: The Ultimate Tribute to ABBA’. This show captures the unique ABBA sound and feel, with incredible attention to detail. ‘Waterloo’ is an experience not to be missed by any ABBA fan. Voulez-Vous?!

Next up: Creedence Clearwater Review rolls into town, on Friday 20th February. Sing along to timeless anthems like ‘Bad Moon Rising’, ‘Proud Mary’, and ‘Fortunate Son’, along with beloved tracks from the iconic Cosmo’s Factory album. This tribute delivers an authentic CCR concert experience, complete with vintage instruments and 60s-inspired outfits!

On Saturday 21st February, don’t miss ‘Heaven Can Wait: The Ultimate Meat Loaf Experience!’ Featuring the incredible vocals of Lee Brady and a live band comprised of the UK’s most skilled rock musicians and powerhouse female vocalists, ‘Heaven Can Wait’ delivers an electrifying tribute to Meat Loaf’s greatest hits. Tickets are flying, like Bats Out of Hell, so don’t miss out!

There’s something very special in store, on Sunday 22nd February – For anyone who loves to laugh and cry, in equal measure! Starring Cheryl Fergison, of EastEnders fame: ‘Living the Life of Riley’ is a nationally acclaimed stage play, which is heartwarming, heartbreaking and hilarious. The story centres on the dynamics of an ordinary family trying to cope with everyday life, including a diagnosis of autism for their youngest son. Katie Price had a hand in writing this show, and will appear in an on-screen role.

Finally, on Friday 27th February: Brace yourself for some much naughtier humour … with ‘Jack Off The Beanstalk’ (18+) – a lewd, crude, Adult Panto. With filthy one-liners, and enough innuendo to make anybody blush, this one’s absolutely not for kids!

Tickets for all shows are available from the Box Office: Tuesday to Sunday 11am-4pm (in person, or by calling 01394 284962). You can also select and book seats online, 24/7, at www.fxspa.co.uk
