Ipswich Music Day ’26 – Performers wanted

Applications are now open for performers from Ipswich, Suffolk and the East Anglian region to have their chance to play live at Ipswich Music Day 2026.  

Giving singers, musicians and bands the opportunity to appear in front of thousands of people on Sunday 5th July, the event is a fantastic opportunity for up-and-coming artists to showcase their talent. 

Running for the 36th year, Ipswich Music Day is the UK’s biggest free one-day music festival. Organised by Ipswich Borough Council, this family-friendly event in Christchurch Park will feature six stages of performers celebrating all types of music alongside fairground rides, activities, a market and food vendors.

Closing date for entries is midnight on Sunday 29th March 2026, successful applicants will be notified by Friday 17th April 2026.
