Public order incident – Ipswich



Police are appealing for a couple, believed to have been involved in an incident in Ipswich involving two dogs, to come forward.

Officers had a report that on Saturday 30 January at about 4pm in Christchurch Park a male was walking his dog, off lead in a park, when his dog, a 10month old Lurcher/Alsatian cross was approached another dog. The male owner of the other dog, a Newfoundland dog, made threats to harm the other dog (Lurcher/Alsatian cross) if it came over again. The female partner of the owner of the Newfoundland dog shouted and swore at the male causing him distress.

The male offender is described as white, about five foot, 10 inches tall with a bald head, wore glasses, and was of medium build and had a Scottish accent. He was wearing a green jacket. The female was white, five foot,10 inches tall with blonde hair and had an American accent.
