Santa is coming to Landguard Fort

Father Christmas, or Santa as many know him, has found out there are many good boys and girls in Suffolk, and he has asked Landguard Fort in Felixstowe if he can come and see them on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th December before he brings their presents on Christmas morning.

If you’ve been good this year and would like to tell Santa what you want for Christmas then he, along with his elves and the Fort would love to see you. Besides seeing Santa there will be a Christmas themed trail (included in the price) for you to do, a post box for any last-minute letters to Santa as well as the chance to explore some of the Fort. Who knows, it might even snow! But there will definitely be hot chocolate, mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas music to make sure everyone is in the Christmas spirit.

The fort will be open 11am until 5pm on both days, with entrance by timed ticket. Please allow one to two hours to enjoy the whole experience. Admission prices are;

– Children: £6.50 in advance, £7.50 on the gate* (includes trail and present). Children aged one and under free.

– Adults: £2.50 in advance, £3.00 on the gate*

– Family ticket for 2 adults & 2 children: £16 in advance, £18 on the gate*

(* on the gate tickets are subject to availability)

Nicola Barker, Landguard Fort General Manager said, “We can’t wait to sprinkle some Christmas magic and fun at the Fort. Children and their families will love our themed trail that will lead you to visit Father Christmas. It promises to be a real festive treat”.

Some, but not all, exhibits at the fort will be open for this event – so please do plan to come again during 2022 to see everything else this top visitor attraction has to offer!
