East Suffolk Photography Competition is back
East Suffolk Council’s popular photo competition is returning for another year.
The return of East Suffolk Through the Lens follows the success of last year’s competition, which had more than 350 entries. This year’s competition is open to photographers of all ages and experience, with the aim of celebrating East Suffolk’s unique appeal. Entrants are encouraged to capture the essence of the district by photographing the buildings, landscapes, wildlife, people and all that makes East Suffolk amazing.
High street retail vouchers will be awarded to the overall winner, under-16 winner and three runners-up. The overall winner’s photo will also grace the cover of East Suffolk Magazine when delivered to every household in the district next spring.
Cllr Caroline Topping, Leader of East Suffolk Council, said, “Last year proved that we have some extremely talented photographers here in East Suffolk, and I am looking forward to seeing more this year. Our district is filled with beautiful landscapes and incredible wildlife, all waiting to be captured through the lens. It could be an image that perfectly encapsulates daily life in East Suffolk, or a moment that reminds all of us how amazing our district is.”
Entries should be submitted via an East Suffolk Through the Lens online entry form before midnight on Thursday 30th January. Previous entries will not be considered.
