March into Friendship

Yes, Spring is just around the corner! Time to forget gloomy days and to re-emerge from winter hibernation! Time to renew friendships and make new ones!

The Ipswich Oddfellows have lots of varied events and get-togethers for you to enjoy. While their meeting Hall is undergoing building works the Group is meeting out-and-about, but they are the perfect excuse to get-up-and-go!

One such get-together was an invitation to enjoy afternoon tea at the head office of Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines. This was in recognition of the long-standing partnership between the Company and the Oddfellows. The afternoon was attended by 30 members who enjoyed a delicious spread, a presentation of cruising with Fred.Olsen, a fun quiz and a raffle. All proceeds of the event went towards to the Chairman’s charity, Sherringham Lifeboat.

Travelling together is one of the benefits of Oddfellows membership whether it be a day-trip, a short break or a cruise.

Guests are welcome to come along and experience what’s on offer.

Throughout March, Kurling will be at the Central Library, coffee morning at Museum St Methodist church and lunch at a local venue.

So, put a spring in your step, march into friendship and get in touch.
