WIN: Tickets to Ipswich Fireworks
n Ipswich’s much-loved Christchurch Park fireworks display is back for 2026, with a spectacular new twist as cutting-edge laser technology joins the fireworks for an unforgettable Halloween celebration.
Organisers of the town’s long-running fireworks display have announced details of this year’s event, which takes place on Saturday 31st October. Promising an evening packed with fireworks, music, entertainment and Halloween fun, the Halloween Fireworks Spooktacular is set to transform Christchurch Park into a spectacular family-friendly celebration.
Organised by the 11th Ipswich Scout Group, which has staged the event since 1972, the annual fireworks display is the group’s biggest fundraising activity of the year.
New for 2026, the display will feature cutting-edge laser technology, adding a whole new dimension to the traditional fireworks spectacular.
Glenn Plume, Founder & Director of Alchemy Fireworks, said, “We’ve invested in the latest laser technology to add a whole new dimension to our fireworks displays. The combination of fireworks, smoke and lasers against the stunning backdrop of Christchurch Park will create an audio-visual experience like no other.”
The musical fireworks display will be choreographed to a soundtrack packed with Halloween hits, creating a spectacular finale to an evening of family entertainment.
But there’s much more to enjoy before and after the fireworks. Visitors can expect fairground attractions, street food, a bar, fire and LED light performances, a roaring bonfire, Halloween street entertainment and live music across three stages.
With something happening throughout the evening, the Halloween Fireworks Spooktacular promises to be much more than a fireworks display. From live music and spectacular performances to fairground rides, street food, Halloween entertainment and the warmth of a roaring bonfire, there will be plenty to keep the whole family entertained.
The event is expected to be one of the highlights of Ipswich’s Halloween celebrations, combining the much-loved tradition of the Christchurch Park fireworks with a host of new experiences for 2026.
Tickets are available exclusively online from 1st October at www.ipswichfireworks.com. With tickets expected to be in high demand, families are encouraged to book early and secure their place at what promises to be a truly spectacular Halloween night in Christchurch Park.
