Suffolk Windrush 75th Anniversary Event

Come together and celebrate the achievements of the Caribbean Community in Suffolk.


Suffolk Windrush Select Committee will be celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Windrush on Thursday 22nd June, 2023 on the Cornhill Ipswich and in the Town Hall from 12.00 noon – 16.30 pm.

There will be stalls and of course Caribbean food


An exhibition will be held depicting an historical legacy journey for this special occasion for the elders of this generation
In partnership with the Select Windrush Select Committee will be the Ipswich Borough Council plan and deliver this musical and culturally diverse event.


The music stage is fully programmed to commemorate the heritage of the Caribbean passengers of the Windrush.
